Amagansett Sea Salt is premium, unrefined finishing salt, crafted entirely by hand in small batches from the Atlantic Ocean. Our process is entirely outdoors, traditional and natural. We do not boil or oven-dry seawater. We do not trap the process in a greenhouse or a factory building. We do not use chemicals or anti-caking agents. Our process requires only the sea, sun, wind, and patience. By carefully balancing solar evaporation and exposure to the crisp, clean ocean breezes, seawater forms slowly into white, salt crystals having a mild, sweet flavor and a distinctive soft crunch. HOW TO USE:

Go light. Depending on your food, 1, 2, or 3 grains per bite is all you need.

Our American-made sea salt is a moderately coarse salt, best described as a cross between "sel gris" and "traditional" salt.

Amagansett Sea Salt is valued for its briny taste of the Northeast and the Atlantic, pleasingly distinct texture (not too hard and not too soft), and beautiful grain shape, size, and color.
